This is an opportunity to work with the guidance of a successful practicing artist who will stimulate and inspire you to develop your work and find new directions. Working in a supportive group will motivate you and build your confidence as a practicing visual artist.
Our unique ‘RABLEY ATELIER COURSE’ will help you to consolidate your ideas and develop your practice through regular weekly session over several weeks. You bring your folio to the spacious drawing studio at Rabley Drawing Centre to work on your current project or receive guidance towards new directions and outcomes.

Jill Carter’s work explores the theme of journeying, unearthing histories and stories in relationship to people and place. Her diverse practice as a social engagement artist includes private and public commissions in consultative participatory community arts & media projects and residencies. A passion for artist's books, her work is informed by travels in the UK & Far East, drawings, free writing, photography and film, together with collections of this and that; pages of her journals & visual diaries are bursting and full with stories and inspiration.
