Drawing with Light and Space
Tutor: Alan Bond
3 Day Workshop

Course Outline:
Starting with a walk and photographic and sketchbook tour around the buildings of Rabley including abandoned barns and working cowshed, this course utilises the digital camera as a creative resource for drawing alongside sketchbook studies. In the context of architectural drawing you will explore two main themes: through materials and composition the study of light and space and the uses and pitfalls of using photography as an aid to drawing, investigating how the two practices can be integrated. This course encourages the development of drawings using data without ‘copying’, making and developing drawings in the studio and on site.
