| Course Outline: |
Summer is a great time to get out and find new ‘ways of seeing’ and seek fresh inspiration. A week of experimental drawing, sketchbooks, a visit to the Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford. You can also work in tha landscape and develop your ideas in the drawing studio and printroom.

| Day 1 |
| Experimental drawing walk and sketchbook workshops |
| |
| Day 2 |
| A visit to Oxford by minibus to be inspired by the exraordinary objects of the Pitt Rivers museum and the Natural History Museum with lunch overlooking Oxford's dreaming spires. |
| |
| Day 3-5 |
Develop your work in the landscape drawng studio and the printroom. A specialist printmaking technician will be on hand. |

| About the Tutor: |
| A multi-disciplinary approach to drawing underpins Meryl Ainslie’s sculptural installations and printmaking activity. Responding to our physical engagement with nature her work often takes on monumental scale – Meryl Ainslie has written and run unique drawing programmes at degree level. She studied MA Fine Art Drawing at Wimbledon School of Art and founded Rabley Contemporary Drawing Centre in 2005.
