‘DRAWN TO INDIA' is a journey of visual discovery through the colours and surfaces of beautiful Rajasthan, creating a sketchbook where each page will be imbued with amazing experiences: Amber stoned temples and crimson washed palaces; riotous markets; a desert safari and night drawing by the sacred Puskar lake. |
| We will take you to the bustling and vibrant markets, to the murals of the amazing Mughal palaces dating back to the 12th century and off the beaten track to desert villages where you can study the processes of centuries old rural crafts. |
| This will be the third year of our highly successful Rajasthan study trip and we believe that we have built something truly unique. Emma Stibbon RWA will lead a series of creative site specific workshops and give individual and group tutorials. The workshops have been developed by Meryl Ainslie based on years of fine art teaching experience and organising field study trips abroad. Also accompanying the group will be Kamlesh Vyas of Lakshmi Tours who will be your rajasthani guide. Kamlesh was born and has lived his whole life in Rajasthan with over 16 years of group leading and tourism experience. |
| This extraordinary ‘sketchbook' tour for a small group is a unique opportunity to explore the vibrant sights of Rajasthan enriched by a combination of a structured workshops and a stimulating programme of activities and locations to trigger exciting new creative development. Create a sketchbook resource that will inspire you for years to come. |
