| Course description: |
This practical three-day course invites speculation, experimentation and visual enquiry by considering drawing and landscape. The course will use as a basis for discussion, Ruskin’s seminal book ‘The Elements of Drawing’. As a basic premise, Ruskin told his readers that his was not an instruction manual on how to draw, but rather on how to see.
|
Paul Feildsend-Danks is senior lecturer in drawing and Head of the Fine Art degree course at Swindon College. His drawings and paintings will be the subject of a solo exhibition at Rabley Drawing Centre in September 2008.
