Experimental Printmaking
3-Day Printmaking workshop
with Amy-Jane Blackhall

Course Outline:

Take your ideas through a journey in print. This 3-day course focuses on developing and reinterpreting imagery through the combination of print processes both on and off press, with emphasis on experimentation, a painterly approach and hand finishing.

Throughout the course participants will explore various routes into transforming an idea into print using a range of direct methods that enable free expression and multiplicity, but also break boundaries of conventional modes of printmaking.

Suitable for people with some print experience that wish to reinvigorate and push the boundaries of their current practice.

This unique environment includes ancient burial mounds, Iron Age earthworks and the Roman road to the Roman settlement of Cunetio.
