Artist Talk
Emma Stibbon in her studio at Spike Island

Emma Stibbon will talk about her experience as 'artist as witness' working in environments on the cusp of change. Emma documents landscapes from the Arctic to the Antarctic; active volcanoes, deserts and urban cities in transition. The talk coincides with her current solo exhibition and new publication 'Territories of Print 1994 - 2019'

“Stibbon ...draws from the printmaker’s prosaic materials, images which are marvellous and compelling, images which expand our imagination and leave us awe-struck”  Gill Saunders, Senior Curator (Prints), V&A

Signed copies of Emma's new book will be available to purchase at the talk.
