On the afternoon of the 8th October we were pleased to host an artist's talk with Emma Stibbon on her current exhibition ‘ROMA’. The talk took the form of a dialogue with Meryl Ainslie Director and Curator of Rabley.
Emma recalled her experiences as the resident artist and Derek Hill scholar at The British School at Rome in 2010, the starting point for her Rome drawings and woodcuts. She discussed her unique perspective, seen through her work, on the layers of history from Imperial Rome and Mussolini to the present day.
