Rabley Art Projects and The 4x4 Gallery are satellite projects related to the resources of the main Drawing Centre. The 4 x 4 Gallery will be, subject to funding, a mobile gallery and studio taken to schools, events and visiting Market towns to bring art to the community. Rabley Art Projects also run a programme of artists talks and work in partnership with other organisations to promote excellence in, and the education of the visual arts..

| We are pleased to anounce that The SKETCH 2013 Sketchbook Drawing Prize is now open for submission. |
| |
| The SKETCH Drawing Prize is the only national UK award for artists' sketchbooks promoting the diversity and importance of drawing and the role of the sketchbook in contemporary fine art practice. Sketchbooks will be selected for a national touring exhibition through open submission from artists and students of art, resident or domiciled in the UK. |

| Artist Sara Lee and Amy-Jane Blackhall, Rabley’s studio printmaker enjoyed a few days this week printmaking as part of ‘Rabley’s Drawing Lab’. We were sharing practice, developing the polymer photogravures techniques. Sara is exploring combining the methods of Japanese woodcut with the polymer plates – all very exciting! |
