| Paul Danks is the Course Leader for BA Fine Art/ Drawing at The School of Art and Design, Swindon College. He studied for his BA Fine Art at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, and MA European Fine Art at Winchester School of Art in Barcelona. Paul devised and co-ordinated the development of the BA Fine Art: Drawing for Fine Art Practice programme at the School of Art & Design prior to its validation in 2001, having spent several years contributing to the successful HND Drawing course which was its predecessor. He contributes to both practice–based study and Historical & Contextual Studies, overseeing the Third year Dissertation. In 2003, Paul was invited to contribute to the Fine Art Programme at Oxford Brookes University as Module Leader for Drawing and Painting. This position continued in 2004. |

Paul has exhibited both nationally and internationally and is currently establishing the Drawing Research Initiative (D.R.I.). |
