Drawing informs every other medium I use. I try to faithfully represent my experience through drawing. |
| I begin by selecting subject matter intuitively, until the drawings expand into series. The work tends to centre on places where form is linked to emotion, metaphor and movement or change. Previous series focused on aeroplanes and airports, roller coasters in America and funfairs in England. |
| I have used all the print techniques, film, paint and pencils as drawing media. |

Las Vegas: New York, New York is one of a series of prints made after a visit to Las Vegas. A huge rollercoaster track runs around this scale model of New York. Tangled red marks weave around the base of the fake skyscrapers which reach up to a heavy purple sky. |
